Love Skating? Let the City Know

December 11, 2023 Update: We had a great turnout, and the city is considering adding a skate spot and additional features to the greenway. If you’ve not shared your enthusiasm for skating downtown, please submit your input to the city on their website.

December 7, 2023 Update: Ahead of Saturday's open house, you can preview the park design and provide input online here

Do you love skating? Have you enjoyed skating, biking, and blading at Conlon Family Skatepark?

Then come out on December 9, 2023 and let the city know it.

The city is listening. We’ve shared the survey that’s open until December 7, but there’s another fantastic opportunity to engage. The city is hosting an open house on the proposed Smoky Hollow Park—which includes the space occupied by Conlon Skatepark. City staff and the design team will have schematic plans for the future park and be ready to share updates and answer questions.

This open house is an opportunity to share how much it’s meant to have a skatepark downtown and how important it is for the city to plan for future opportunities—in Smoky Hollow and beyond.

So, show up and share your skate story.
