Wheels, Music, & Vibes: Skate Raleigh Returns to Hopscotch for Year 3!

Skate Raleigh is rolling back into the Hopscotch Music Festival for our third year—and trust us, this one’s going to be our best yet. We’re shutting down Martin Street, right in front of LeDive and Neptune bars, and transforming it into a pop-up paradise for skaters, BMX riders, and roller disco lovers all weekend long.

From Thursday, September 4 to Saturday, September 6, 2025, expect high-energy action, thumping DJ beats, and a festival within a festival. Whether you’re here to shred, cruise, or just soak in the vibes with a cold drink in hand, we’ve got something for you.

Schedule Highlights

We’ve got a lot going on!

Thursday: Pro BMX Takes Flight

We’re kicking things off with pure adrenaline. Local legend John Saxton of Skidmark Parks will throw down a jaw-dropping BMX show at 6:30pm, setting the tone for an epic weekend. Before and after, our pop-up skatepark will be open for riders of all skill levels.

Friday: Roller Disco + BMX Jam

Friday brings a BMX Jam for riders ready to send it, and then we’re turning Martin Street into a full-on Friday Night Roller Disco. Expect glitter, grooves, and wheels spinning under the street lights—open to all, just register on site.

Saturday: Skate Sessions, Jams & Tricks

Saturday is all about the skateboard community. We’ve got kids’ skateboard lessons with Triangle Skateboard Lessons, an Endless Grind-hosted Skateboard Jam, and (pending final confirmation) a Red Bull Best Trick Contest that’s sure to draw big moves and bigger cheers.

Free to Watch. Fun to Join.

Even if you’ve never stepped on a board or bike, this is one of the most fun, energetic corners of Hopscotch. Swing by Martin Street, grab a drink, and enjoy the show—or better yet, bring your wheels and join in.

Location: Martin Street, Raleigh, NC (in front of LeDive & Neptune Bars)
