Conlon Family Skatepark is a blast, but some relief from that summer sun would be a welcome addition. We're happy to announce that some innovative, cool, and exciting things are in the works for Conlon: Students from NC State College of Design are working with REdesign.build to help build shade structures!
Skate Raleigh board members Will Alphin and Cody Charland were impressed with the first round of ideas from the Design + Build Program to bring shade and seating to our favorite skatepark.
We're happy that the NC State team is moving forward. This is a rapid design process, so the Skate Raleigh team is working directly with them to provide input.
