Beyond the Board with Skate Raleigh

Skate Raleigh hosted Beyond the Board this past Saturday (just two days after the ribbon cutting!) at Conlon Family Skatepark—and it was a tremendous success.

The Beyond the Board team held a children’s workshop as well as a longboard workshop. We were so stoked to have the skatepark open in time for this event. Seeing our local skaters share the park with younger kids and Beyond the Board as they navigated through the park doing their event is exactly the kind of thing we'd hoped this could park would foster.

Here's to bringing the next generation of skaters along by providing safe spaces to learn.

Beyond the Board is a non-profit out of Los Angeles on a mission to use skateboarding to empower people with confidence and to build community that goes “Beyond the Board."
