A huge thanks to everyone who participated in All A-Board on Sunday!
400+ attendees joined us at Raleigh Union Station to help Skate Raleigh raise funds to support the upcoming skatepark—and to catch the first BMX show inside Raleigh Union Station. 100+ folks joined us outside the station to rollerblade, BMX, scoot, and skateboard at our pop-up skatepark.
Thanks to our attendees, artists, volunteers, and sponsors, we raised more than $70K in combined financial support for the skatepark! Our top live auction piece went for $15K alone, and every single artists’ deck sold. $8K of the proceeds will benefit our incredible artists. Their efforts to engage the local community for the park are truly appreciated.
This community gathering was the perfect example of what Skate Raleigh stands for. The Conlon Family Skatepark will be an exciting new addition to the downtown, bringing fun activities and welcoming everyone.
